The Musée de L'eau invites its visitors to discover the richness of water, source of life, at the Bois des Rêves in Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve. Although the museum is evolving at the moment, a fantastic selection of art pieces are on show at the Bois des Rêves. Access is free. The perfect excuse for a stroll!

An evolving museum

The Musée de L'eau closed its doors in Genval at the beginning of September 2017. The permanent exhibition of the Museum is no longer accessible to the public however, school and family activities will continue within the Bois des Rêves estate.

Create awareness about the importance of water

The museum initiates a discussion on the current water situation in the world and aims and making young (and less young) visitors more aware of the challenges and issues. From urban to farm fountains via decorative ones, the collections retraces the secrets of bringing water to our homes. A sensorial and playful trail will delight children and their parents.
