  • Cycle ride

Discover how beautiful the Ourthe is by cycling through its vast plain, around Melreux.

From the Melreux railway station, you will reach the Calestienne and its superb landscapes: the region right between the Condroz and the Ardenne.

The West features meadows with a gentle relief, the East, wooded hills: varied landscapes to be enjoyed throughout this trail.

A little after Monville, you will cycle along the Ourthe which meanders through the meadows. The valley near Fronville, protected by the rocky cliffs of the Famenne, offers a much warmer temperature. After the camping site, the road goes ip slightly to reach Petit-Han, then continues a while towards Biron.

The slope goes up still, taking you to Oppagne and Werris, one of the prettiest villages in Wallonia, also known for its megalithic fields. A beautiful descent and you are now in Hotton, nestled in this valley bathed in light.

 Good to know

The hiking program «clé sur porte» (key on the door) in the Ourthe region also has offers for cyclists.
