This 20 km bike ride explores the commune of Rendeux and its story during WW1 and WW2, with a focus on the Battle of the Bulge.
The itinerary, which goes from Rendeux-Haut to Gênes, via Beffe and Marcourt, passes monuments, commemorarive plaques, headstones and chapels thus retracring the tormented path of the locals villages during the two world wars.
Good to know
Rendeux is a traditional village of the Ardenne, near the Famenne region. Why not pick up a leaflet (complete with pictures and explanations) from the Royal Tourist Office in Marcourt-Beffe to see which other villages are on the routhe, either along the Ourthe river or along the hills?
