Durbuy, the gateway to the Ardennes, is one of Wallonia’s best-known tourist destinations.

Known as ‘the smallest city in the world’, Durbuy has managed to retain its character as a jewel of the Middle Ages (the old town dates from 1331) despite the impact of mass tourism. Durbuy’s beautiful neighbouring towns and villages add to its appeal. Much of the tourist accommodation consists of smaller, family-run hotels and B&Bs.
