Several golf clubs in Wallonia have on-site hotels or other accommodation, meaning guests can maximise their time on the fairways by walking out of their rooms straight on to the 1st tee.
A Castle Farm with Benefits
Le Naxhelet Golf Club, situated between Namur and Liège, has an 18-hole course, a nine-hole pitch-and-putt circuit and three further holes belonging to the Naxhelet Golf Academy. The original farm-castle has been converted into a clubhouse, restaurant and hotel with 35 rooms and two suites partly built into a 17th-century chapel.
Barns, Farms, Castles and Lofts
South-east of Waterloo, L’Empereur Relais Golf & Country Club has a small hotel in a converted barn, with eight rooms, four suites and two lofts. In Hainaut province, Golf de Pierpont has 20 rooms in a converted 17th-century farmhouse. Golf & Hotel Henri-Chapelle offers 11 rooms in its on-site three-star hotel, and Golf Club Mergelhof has 10 rooms above its clubhouse. Golf & Hotel de Falnuée is another former farm-château that has converted an outbuilding into a small hotel, with 10 rooms.
