Take a journey to the 19th century by visiting the last steam powered brewery in the world at Leuze-en-Hainaut, in the region of Tournai.

A steam powered brewery

This steam powered brewery, the last in the world, produces natural and artisanal beers, with a second fermentation in bottle. Some are unpasteurized, like the Saison de Pipaix ou la Vapeur en folie. All are made with material dating back to the 19th century.

Visitors will find the whole range of the beers produced in the shop on site.

The steam powered brewery invites you to discover:

  • The art of brewing

Book an appointment with the brewery or come to see the brewing process when it is open to the public, the last Saturday of the month (start 9 am, finish 3 pm). You will lean how beer was made in past times.

The visit includes:

  • A tasting and a bottle (for individuals and groups alike)
  • Free entry for guides and and drivers as part of a group
