In July 1929, Léon Losseau sets out on board the Brazza, a large cruise ship, to discover the stunning landscapes of the Arctic Circle. This exhibition retraces his journey - both the physical and psychological one.
Glacierss, fjords at the edge of the world... Léon Losseau captured spectacular panoramas back in 1929. Along the exhibition, visitors discover the memory of an era both through photographs and the traveller's documents.
Other artists have, in parallel, reinterpreted Leon Losseau's memories, exploring them through different angles, considering different dimensions: the seen and experienced, real and imagined.
This exhibition takes place in the Maison Losseau, an Art Nouveau gem in Mons.
