Dscover Philippe Graton's exhibition: a unique report on the famous Notre-Dame-des-Landes ZAD (Zone d'aménagement différé or zone to defend) at the Musée de la Photo de Charleroi.
The Notre-Dame-des-Landes ZAD was meant to host a new airport. The locals decided otherwise. Wishing to protect this natural zone, they preferred to use it an an experimental land to support an alternative society focused on organic farming and non commercial relationships.
Philippe Graton spent a few years there, documenting this little universe with his film camera, thus offering, through 60 fascinating pictures, a unique angle.
