The Cristal Discovery museum comprises of:
Mémoire de Verriers (Glassworkers' memories): poignant accounts by old glass workers from the Cristallerie. The 18 minutes film pays homage to those whose know-how continues to uphold the reputation of the Val Saint Lambert.
An exceptional collection of 250 pieces presenting the artistic evolution of the Cristallerie since its creation in 1826. It showcases its flourishing eras, the different styles and the various techniques used.
5 glass sculptures by Belgian artist Bernard Tirtiaux, a sensory approach to the material and contemporary art at its most impressive.
A journey back in time in the converted cellars of the castle to discover the history of glass.
An immersive trail retracing the history of glass, from Antiquity to the present day.
A glassblowing demonstration to see the work and skills of master glassblowers live.
Visitors with specific needs
The Cristal Discovery museum is one of the many sites certified by Access-i (meaning with facilities or/activities adapted to travellers with specific needs). You will find more details on the website to plan your visit.
Tuesdays to Saturdays, 10 am to 5 pm
Sundays and public holidays 1 to 5 pm
Closed on Mondays, December 25th and January 1st.
Groups of 15 persons or more are welcome every day (but Mondays) at the museum - booking required.
