The Namur Tourism Federation

  • View on the citadel of Namur
  • Discover Dinant, in the province of Namur, with a boat cruise on the Meuse

The Meuse and Sambre valleys around Namur offer many opportunities for relaxing days out: boat rides, walks along the Ravels, mountain biking. Culture lovers will enjoy visiting the citadels of Namur and Dinant, the ruins of Poilvache and Bouvignes, the Félicien Rops museum, the Maison du patrimoine médiéval mosan...

On the west, you can have fun fun at the Pays des Vallées lakes, stretching from the l’Eau d’Heure to the Bambois lakes. A few iconic stops, aside from nature strolls and water sports: the Brasserie des FagnesTreignes (known for its many museums), the 3 Vallées steam train and the many folkloric marches, considered by UNESCO as world cultural heritage.

South of the province is the Ardenne, ever so peaceful, offering an endless choice of walks through the countryside and picturesque villages, many being listed as some of the prettiest in Wallonia. The perfect excuse to try a few terroir products along the way.
