After a relaxing stroll to the Fond des Vaulx natural caves or along the RAVeL Marche-Hotton, indulge in a gourmet pause: a matoufé with a Saint-Momont will prove particularly comforting. Children will love the Baisers de Marche as a treat at the end of the meal or during the day.

The Matoufé

This preparation made from streaky bacon, eggs, milk and flour is worth the detour! This regional dish, showcased by the Matoufé Brotherhood, can be served as a main as well as a starter, on bread or even in a small casserole dish.

Magerotte, artisan seasoner

Quality is key. The region of Marche-en-Famenne specialises in the farming of pigs in the Ardennes meadows, the Belgian Blue and Aberdeen Angus beef cattle. Only the best will do! Try meat prepared by artisan curer Magerotte, famous for his incredible know-how. Using traditional methods, he makes simply exceptional meat.

The Saint-Monon

Saint-Monon is a beer created by one of Walloon’s youngest brewers. There are three different recipes to try (amber, dark, honey infused), each with its own personality and characteristics. Each sip is remarkable, hence the many rewards received in international brewing competitions.

The Baiser de Marche

This pastry, crunchy on the outside but tender at heart is such a delight! This biscuit is made from two macaroons held together by a layer of butter cream – delicious to say the least.
