The Baraque Michel, one of the highest locations in Belgium, is very much loved by hikers and cross-country skiers.
There are 4 cross-country slopes to choose from: (5, 10, 12 and 17 km loops from the chalet) as well as itineraries for hikers.
Dogs are allowed if on leash.
The chalet and equipment rental
The chalet and the cafeteria can seat up to 100 visitors. You are welcome to picnic as long as you buy the drinks on site.
Skis, snow shoes, ski boots, poles can be rented. You are welcome to some with your own equipment, but you will have to pay a fee to access the ski slopes.
