- Architectural heritage
UNESCO World Heritage site since 1999, the belfry of Tournai is the oldest in Belgium. Visitors are invited to make their way up the tower by taking the 257 steps stairs to the Bell Ringer's room to listen to an amazing concert.
A splendid panorama of Tournai and its area await from the top of the building. The belfry is part of the cultural trail in the city's historic heart.
Can't face going up the stairs? Simply sit in the nearby Folklore Museum gardens, a perfect place to listen to the bells ringing.
