The Belgian Commando Battalions museum in Flawinne

The Commando Museum in Flawinne retraces the story this Belgian elite fighting force, from its creation in 1942 to today. Visitors can learn about the many military campaigns the soldiers took part in and see the equipment, weapons and vehicles used by the battalions.

The Belgian Commando Battalions brought back pictures and documents from their missions: these are now featured in this fascinating museum, organised chronologically and by theme. An exceptional journey through time in Wallonia.
