The first UNESCO geopark
The UNESCO Global Geopark Famenne-Ardenne is the very first geopark in Belgium. It stretches over 900 km², over the communes of Beauraing, Durbuy, Hotton, Marche-en-Famenne, Nassogne, Rochefort, Tellin and Wellin.
This geopark offers many touristic and scientific attractions: caves, a rich biodiversity, unique rocks and local initiatives aiming at developing the natural heritage.

The Geopark aims at developing tourism. The Famenne-Ardenne has many beautiful assets to explore such as the Grottes des Carrières, parks, museums, arboretums, picturesque villages, castles, abbeys, estates and geosites.
