In the heart of the district of Vieux Namur, the Provincial museum Félicien Rops presents all aspects of the work of Félicien Rops, Belgian artist of the nineteenth century.


Visit and activities

The museum presents the works of the permanent collection through a course and a scenography offering you a dynamic and complete discovery of the creative work of Félicien Rops. From his career as a caricaturist in Brussels to his consecration in Paris, all the themes addressed by Rops, women, love, desire and death are evoked. In addition, the museum offers various services such as guided tours, temporary exhibitions and internships, audio guides, publications on the artist and its century, Documentation centre and film-Club of Art films


From 01 January to 31 December 2017.

Open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 6 pm.

In July and August, open every day.

Closed on 24, 25 and 31 December as well as on 1 January.
