This exhibition, imagining the future throughout humanity, celebrates the bicentenary of the University of Liège - from September 23, 2017.
A few words about the university
The university of Liège, founded on September 25, 1817, wanted to talk about its 200 years of history, put forward its many strengths and share the challenges it had overcome by organising a variety of events.
The university partnered with Collections & Patrimoines and Europa 50 companies and invites you t see the "I will be 20 in 2030" exhibition, at the heart of the Liège-Guillemins railway station, a building designed by architect Santiago Calatrava.
Meeting with the man of tomorrow
Come and meet the man of the future at this exhibition: an immersive trail with theatrical decors and staging, together with explanatory texts and movies.
4 main themes are covered:
- The assisted man
- The connected man
- The responsible man
- The modified man
The aim is to put forward how universal science and research are through question such as "Where do we come from? Which way are we going?".
