The UCL museum is moving to the brand-new L museum. It will open to the public on November 18, 2017. 

The new museum, a fully renovated 4100 m² space in the old Sciences and Technologies Library, will be open to everyone. The UCL is the first university to allow the public to access to its collections.

Until it opens, the L Museum and Louvain University museum will become a "nomadic museum" offering a range of activities and events outside of its usual premises.


From 01 January to 31 December 2018.

Tuesdays to Fridays: from 9.30 am to 5 pm.
Weekends: from 11 am to 5 pm.
Late opening the third Thursday of the month, till 10 pm.

Closed Mondays, July 21st, August 15th, December 24th to January 1st included.

Groups: 20 persons max, booking required.


Free fisrt month's sunday
Free for children under 12, members of the UCL, UCL students, Friends of the L Museum, Amicale des pensionnés of the UCL, teachers, journalists.
