Situated in the former Villa Royale, residence of the second queen of the Belgian Marie Henriette, the Museum of the City of Waters unveils the history of Spa.
The museum invites you to discover the history of the Pearl of the Ardennes through its magnificent collection of "Jolités" or Bois de Spa, from the seventeenth century to the present day, and thanks to old posters, engravings and various objects evoking the activity of the oldest spa town in Europe.
On the site of the Villa Royale, you will also find the Spa Horse Museum.

On the ground floor, the museum area will retrace the history of this famous spa town. Discover the astonishing route of the cradle of the modern thermal baths that became "Café de l'Europe" and "Pearl of the Ardennes". Authentic documents, rare items and videos will rhythm your visit.
