The Wellington Museum, in the heart of Waterloo, used to an inn. The Duke of Wellington used it as his headquarters during the famous battle of 1815.

Both a museum and memorial, the collections retrace the European political background before and after the battle, putting forward engravings, historical weapons and documents.

The museum is not easily accessible to persons with reduced mobility.
