Come and live a Gallo-Roman experience in Malagne, at the Rochefort Archéoparc in the province of Namur. A wonderful travel through history, back to Northern Gaul.
2000 years ago, the Gallo-Roman villa in Malagne, then fully operating, was one of the largest farms in northern Gaul. Today, the archaeological park takes you on a discovery of the everyday life of the villa's inhabitants.
Amongst the well maintained remains, discover the reconstructed barn and forge, the gardens, cultures, animal breeding, crafts and experimental archaeological workshops. You can also enjoy the terrace, and an interactive area.
The Gallo-Roman villa in Malagne is set in nature, 1 km from the town centre of Rochefort, 12 km from Nassogne, 13 km from Marche-en-Fammene, 23 km from Saint-Hubert and 30 km from Roche-en-Ardenne.
Refer to the events calendar on the website (link in French only) and come and Malagne come to life on specific Sundays and public holidays!
