Step into a quite extraordinary cave for a journey through time, all the way to the Prehistoric era... Here unfolds the tale of a Neandertal child, of bears, lions, hyenas and rhinos. Follow the guide, in fact an archaeologist, who will explain how the team tries to present the finds of a forgotten time, a work of passion, patience and science alike.
Annual closure during the Christmas holidays.
The museum space is accessible Mondays to Fridays, 9 am to 4 pm.
A combined visit of the cave and the museum space is possible the 3 rd Sunday of every month - one visit only, at 2 pm.
Groups welcome, booking required.
Special programs for schools and summer times.
Free for children under 6.
