Welcome to La Maison du Scieur, a countryside gîte at the heart of a forest in the Ardenne. This peaceful rental, a couple minutes’ drive from Redu, is perfect for groups and families. It was awarded 2 épis for its quality.
Please note the gîte is not connected to the electric network. Electricity is produced on site by the hydraulic wheel, combined with the wood, oil and gas stove for the central heating.
The gîte
Ground floor: 2 rooms with double beds, 2 rooms with single beds, a bathroom, a separate shower, toilets
Outside: garden with furniture, stream flowing into the pond and the mill's wheel, hot tub (to be shared with the nearby gîte, La Scierie). A rowing boat is available, should you wish to fish on the pond.
Exploring the region
The famous Euro Space Center de Transinne is only a few kilometres away from the gîte.
The region offers many trails, perfect for hikes, mountain biking and horse-riding.
