This WW2 American Cemetery is located in the commune of Neupré, in the south of Belgium.

Also known as the Ardennes American Cemetery, this site is one of 14 American WW2 cemeteries created outside the US. It is the final resting place for 5,317 Americans, with 65 percent of those being fallen airmen of the U.S.

The imposing memorial is of rectangular shape with a majestic American eagle decorating the south face. The sides are engraved with the names of 462 soldiers missing in action or unidentified. The building houses a chapel and immense wall maps retracing military operations in Europe and the Ardennes.
