Located in Denée (just 20 km from Namur and Dinant), the Ferme Apicole des neufs Bonniers delights visitors all year round with guided tours and activities. Created in 2009, this bee farm counts 5 winter hives and 4 transhumance ones.
Guided tours
Visit of the farm: the tour presents the life of bees ten continues onto the honey house and apiary, where one of the hives will be opened. It concludes with a tasting of homemade treats.
Nature walks: a fantastic way to explore Denée, Maredsous and Maredret and learn more about the region. These tours focus on biodiversity and nature. Ornithology, petrology, geology, botany, mycology, ecology... will be mentioned on the way.
Wildlife: off the beaten path! This walk takes place at dawn or dusk, sould you wish to see the local fauna in an enchanting setting.
Tasting and sales
The farm's honey, gingerbread (plain or chocolate, orange, walnut flavoured), nougat, chocolate spread... can all be bought on site.
