The European D’Artagnan Road is a 4,000 km marked itinerary through France, Belgium and the Netherlands. This fantastic project follows in the path of the famous musketeer.
The Walloon path
The equestrian itinerary connects Lupiac in the Gers, the birthplace of the hero who served Louis XIV, to Maastricht and then Holland, where he died. The path crosses Wallonia, starting in Stoumont and going all the way to Mons Two other routes are possible: Lesves to Waterloo and Spa to Maastricht.
Tourism with a twist
The idea? Reconnecting with nature, with people too and promoting, as a green way of exploring a region, equestrian tourism.
