The ponds in the Vallée des Prés, in Oignies-en-Tiérache near Viroinval, are a  Natura 2000 site dedicated to fishing (for a day, month or whole year).

Water is everywhere in the Oignies region, lined by the Sambre and Biesmes rivers, which feed the many ponds. This site remains a peaceful place to reconnect with nature.
