How the story began...
In 1888, a small group of adventurers, scientists and explorers decide to discover the world, its wonders and its mysteries. They photographed, wrote and shared what they saw in what is now known as The National Geographic magazine.
The photos featured all marked major moments of the 20th century or marked the public greatly:
