Leather and wooden puppets
Indonesia has a rich tradition of puppets - in all kinds of shapes and styles. Two types, particularly memorable, will be featured as the Musée International du Carnaval et du Masque: the wooden puppets, in 3 dimensions (wayang golek and wayang klitik) and the shadow theatre puppets, flat and made from leather (wayang kulit).
