Keramis presents a new exhibition dedicated to the Belgian painter and architect Jean Glibert.

Who is Jean Glibert?

Having studied at Institut supérieur des arts décoratifs in La Cambre, Jean Glibert dedicated himself to architecture. His work can be seen all over Belgium. To name a few:

  • Place Saint-Lambert (Liège)
  • Parc du Middelheim (Antwerp)
  • Bockstael tube station (Brussels)...

The link with Keramis

In 2015, Jean Glibert worked on the new concrete volumes, an addition to the listed buildings of the former Boch factory which are now the Keramis museums.

The design invented by the artist is a clever camouflage, inspired by the way china gently cracks with time.

What to see at the exhibition?

Visitors can admire his latest creation: large scale painting done, for the most, during lockdown.
