• Exhibition

This new exhiition at the CID-Grand Hornu cultural centre highlights the challenges caused by the shortage of water on our planet.

Men, indeed, interfere with the natural cycle of water. Floods, pollution, the decreased availability of drinking water regularly make the news. Yet, we need water to survive...

Some consequences are already noticeable:

  • Less water means poorer biotopes, less flora and fauna
  • Unbalanced, the food chain means some species will not make it
  • Rising sea levels

What to see at the exhibition?

Design ideas, artistic twists, (bio)technology, hybrids... could all help finding a solution. A selection is presented here and hopes to inspire the public.
