Come and discover how life was in the 50s in the South of Wallonia... The Écomusée du Pays des Collines welcomes thousands of visitors for its harvest festival, a tradition which started 40 years ago.

A full immersion into the past

Countryside life, as it was not so long ago... There will be a ducasse featuring games of yesteryear, demonstrations of fieldwork with horses, vintage tractors, presentations of past trades of the 1950s. The festival also highlights skills used in the 16th century, when harvests were done by hand still. Add to this craft, music, dances, shepherds... A perfect family day out!

Please note that booking is mandatory.

More information can be found on the Ecomusée website or their Facebook page.

Come and join: there will be plenty of opportunities to learn anecdotes, relax and have fun.

You may have heard Belgium has recently faced torrential rain, causing dramatic floods. Many regions have been touched by this natural catastrophe. We are doing our best to help all travellers coming to Wallonia. Some sites are, as you can understand, not accessible for the time being. Please contact them or check their website/social media platforms before getting on the road. Be assured we are all trying to get things back to order as soon as possible. Travel advice
