Namur's Race for the Cure: a sport event to support research against breast cancer

  • Race or competition
From Friday 25 to Sunday 27 September 2020.

The largest sport gathering in the world, aiming at raising money to fight breast cancer, will take place for the 9th time in a row in Namur. Join the Race for the Cure in September 2019.

The very first one was organised in 1983 in Dallas. It was, at the time, the largest American campaign to defend this cause. The race now brings over a million and a half participants together throughout 100 cities, over 10 countries. It is both a way to remember loved ones and help research.

Come with friends or family, either to run or to cheer those participating.

In three Belgian cities simultaneously

The event, which will take place in Antwerp, Brussels and Namur, provides three options: a 3 km walk, a 6 km race and an 800 m kids run. A large village will also offer entertainment, sumba lessons, tapas and apéritifs.
