Every year, the Fête de l'Orgue takes residence in Liège to offer a series of concerts and events dedicated to this exceptional historical instrument.
In search of heritage
Created in 2010 on the initiative of the Échevinat de la Culture, this festival honors both Liège organ lovers, European organists and promotes the heritage of organs of the City of Liège.
Among the selected concert venues are:
- the Saint-Barthélemy Church
- the Saint-Denis Collegiate Church
- the Chapel of the Daughters of the Cross outside the Château
- the Saint-Roch Chapel in Aviary
- the Church of Saint Mary of the Angels
- Notre-Dame Peace Abbey
On this occasion, the Jeunesses Musicales de Liège non-profit organization will be organizing a concert just for children.
