Stop by the Saint-Monon brewery in Ambly and try Pierre Jacob's craft beers: he is the youngest brewer in Wallonia! White, lager, amber, ale - there is one to fit everyone.

The Saint-Monon brewery is nestled in a farm - still in activity, since 1996. Four craft beers of character are produced here using only natural ingredients. The dark Saint-Monon won a silver medal in Chicago and in Wallonia.

The beers are names after named after Saint-Monon, a Scottish monk came to evangelize the region of Nasssogne in the 7th century. He is said to protect cattle.

They can all be enjoyed in the nearby tasting room. Throughout the year, a few dates will give you a chance to see how they are made too.

The beers produced on site:

  • Saint-Monon au miel (honey flavoured)
  • Saint-Monon ambrée (amber)
  • Saint-Monon brune (dark)
  • La Belle Famenne
