This superb mountain bike cycling trail invites you to discover the forest of Saint-Hubert, one of the most beautiful forests in the country.

Saint-Hubert in the Belgian side of Luxembourg, is the European capital of hunting and nature. The vast forest offers endless opportunities of fantastic hikes. This green itinerary is like a book opening onto the flora and fauna of the region: you might even meet a deer along the path...

A little after the game park, the road goes up. You will reach the memorial to King Albert, in memory of a time when Kings would pass through this forest. A turn further and the slope goes down towards the vale made by the Masblette.

How pleasant, when you get to Fagne du Rôlis, to enjoy the peacefulness, the only noise being your wheels on the pavement. Traffic seems so far away... Around you, the beeches rise up high, the forest is at its most beautiful. The last part of the trail heads towards the opening of the forest then reaches the town of Saint-Hubert, dominated by its basilica.

Good to know

The forest of Saint-Hubert stretches over 100,000 hectres, half of which is planted with trees. The Promenades à la carte (à la carte hikes) details 1,500 km of walking, cycling and horse riding trails. Available for smartphones.
