Located between Arlon and Martelange, the Parc naturel de la Vallée de l'Attert  enjoys a privileged space between the Anlier forest (Ardenne) and the cuestas of the Pays Lorrain, Perfect to reconnect with nature.

You will find that, in the Pays Lorring, the ground is quite sandy while in the Ardenne, schist is more present.

5 natural reserves

Among which:

  • le Marais de Grendel: a mosaic of wet meadows, reed beds, shared between Belgium and Luxembourg. A very pleasant on grates awaits.
  • la Carrière de Tattert: a remarkable quarry site with lawns and dry sand. You will notice rare green plants, lizards and solitary bees

Built heritage

This nature parks is home to 17 villages, which include Nobressart,one of the prettiest in Wallonia. The plaster façades, painted in light colours are typical if the Lorraine and soften the landscape.
