This family-friendly walk starts from the village of Lompret. From there you will discover serene landscapes, valleys planted with hedgerows in harmony with two rivers.

The trail passes many springs and sources, which together make two valleys:

  • The Eau Blanche valley, which takes its name from the whitish colour limestone gives the water
  • The Eau Noire valley, where schist gives water a darker tint

Just over the cliff is a place named Franc Bois: silex and tools discovered there indicate the presence of man from Palaeolithic times.

Near the former fortifications, you will enjoy a remarkable view over the village of Lompret.

Starting point: rue Gustave Joaris 27, Lompret
Distance: 6.6 km
Difficulty: easy
Marking signs: horizontal green diamond
