- Museum or Interpretation Centre
This Archaeological Museum features a Gallo Roman section made quite unique by its Galleria Lapidaria. Add 425 sculpture from funerary monuments and civilian buildings: quite a fascinating journey through time...
The various scenes presented on the monuments are authentic testimonies of how people used to live in the region of Arlon during the Antiquity.
The central gallery showcases the know-how of the artisans of the time, as well as our ancestors' daily life through ceramics, potteries, glasses, personal adornments, tools and weapons.
Last but not least, the unearthed tombs of Merovingian leaders, contemporaries of Clovis, will give you an opportunity to see gold jewels, swords, vases and sarcophagi.
The museum also has a large space for exhibitions and a new theme, presentin gurniture in necropolises.
