Set in a former church on the heights of Namur, this brewery produces a light, floral lager as well as an amber beer full of character.
The team, passionate about beer, wished to present it as a noble drink, deserving to feature on the dining table as much as wine does. Choosing this deconsecrated church to settle their brewery, they opened their doors end of 2015.
They now produce Philomène Florale, a light and floral lager and are working on the Philomène Ambrée, an amber beer. They will soon do the bottling on site too.
Many volunteers and beer lovers helped them along the way, supporting the love of this brewery for its local cultural heritage.
