The tradition, linked to market-gardens, dates back to the 19th century and celebrates... the local white cabbage or "cabu". The new edition will take place in Mussuy-la-Ville on the first weekend of August.
Program
This famous vegetable will be the star of the show: over 700 kg will be cooked, 1250 meals served. Make sure you try some grilled cabbage served with a generous slice from a leg of lamb.
There will be many animations on site such as a flea market, games for children, carriage rides, concerts and music.
Don't miss this!
Join the competition for a chance to be elected "the Cabu King". Not an easy feat, you will need to eat nearly 3 kg of grilled cabbage in less than 20 minutes.
