The Mill (Musée Lanchelevici La Louvière) an the MMDD ( Musée de la Mine et du Développement durable) have partnered to present an exhibition dedicated to the life work of Daniel Pelletti, a painter and drawer from La Louvière.
A retrospective over 2 sites
The Mill focuses on the blooming world of the artist, while the MMDD looks at how he approcaches the mining landscape.
About the artist
- For 50 years, Daniel Pelletti is a major artist of the Hainaut region, always reinventing himself
- Pelletti plays tribute to the complexity of the human condition, its battle, challenges an beauty
- Born in Brazil, headed for Italy, his grandfather settles in La Louvière in 1922 to escape Mussolini's regime. The artist, while having multicultural roots is fully devote to this Walloon region.
