Djins d'Amon nos Ôtes at the Fourneau Saint-Michel
Folklore and Tradition
Djins d'Amon nos Ôtes, set every summer at the Fourneau Saint-Michel, is a wonderful opportunity to learn about countryside life in 19th century Wallonia. You will discover forgotten trades but also taste galettes (small sized waffles), craquelin (a breakfast brioche baked with whole nuggets of pearl sugar that will “crack” or crunch under your teeth), delicious tarts... all prepared the traditional way, on a wood fire. A fantastic atmosphere as you can imagine!
COVID-19 : Recreational/tourist travel to and from Belgium is prohibited until 18 April 2021.
