La Pavillon, in Namur, will feature a new exhibition called Humans/Machines. Between art, science, technoly, it will highlight the paths of digital creativity. March 13 > June 13, 2021.
Men and machines: a complex relationship
Artists, students, researchers, entrepenurs consider in this exhibition the implications of developping AI based technology, its limits in imitating natural processes, human behaviour and empathy.
What differentiates men from robots? Do imperfections, when mirrored by a computer, feel more dangerous than in a human being?
What to see at the exhibition?
Discover robots and machines copying humans, creations of inspired Belgian artists:
- A robot chanting prayers
- Another, sitting on a school bench, writing with great concentration
- A swing under the stars
- A mural created live by a robot on wheels
- "Pickled Punks" robot, kept in jars of formol and ready to be born
- A robotic plant able to create its own AI companion
