Dairy lovers rejoice: La Meule du Plateau, based in the Pays de Herve, makes exceptional cheese from raw milk, which are then ages for 6 months.

These cheese, hard pressed, cooked then matured on spruce boards are Jean-Marc's Cabay's project, who had always dreamed of producing an alpine kind of cheese in Wallonia.

La Meule du Plateau has a smooth, melt in the mouth texture, both supple and firm. The nature curing gives it rich flavours, which vary from a season to another.
