The MAC's, or Museum of Contemporary Arts of Belgium's French-speaking Community, welcomes you to the UNESCO-listed Grand-Hornu mining site.

The museum's architecture opens out onto several areas of the site, a tourism, culture and science centre since the nineties. The MAC's organises long-term temporary exhibitions bringing together pieces from its own contemporary collections and others on loan.

Free for children under 6.

Closing times
December 25th and January 1st.
In between exhibitions, when the pieces are put together or taken back to archive

Minimum 20 persons, booking required at least 10 days in advance.
Guided tours in Dutch, English or French.
Special evening visits on request.
