Situated near the borders of the Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg, the Eastern Cantons have astonishingly diverse landscapes.
To the north, imposing farms and numerous castles dominate the landscape. In the centre the Hautes Fagnes plateau impresses everyone and contains the highest point in Belgium (Botrange 694 m).
Further south lie the lakes of Robertville and Butgenbach - superb places in summer for watersports and relaxation. Finally, the valley of the Our is considered to be the pearl of the Eastern Cantons.
The abundant nature of the area invites you to try many activities such as hiking, cycling, mountain biking or horse-riding.
In winter, the region offers the best skiing in Belgium. You will be warmly welcomed, whether you're staying in a charming hotel, a holiday home, a campsite or a holiday village .
