MAN: Namur's African Museum

Guardhouse of the former Leopold barracks (late 19C). Documents and souvenirs from the period of the founding of the Congo Free State to the present day. Geology, zoology, African agriculture, ethnology, library of more than 20,000 books on Africa. African art, ironwork, pottery, weaving, basketry, musical instruments, weapons.

Closed on public holidays. Guided tours for groups and schools.

Groups: 15 persons min. Booking is essential and must be done at leats 48 h in advance.
