The Moulin du Val-Dieu | A restaurant in a still active mill

Le Moulin du Val Dieu, ideally located in front of the abbey, is home to a restaurant. Visitors can admire its machinery in action: this watermill has been operating for 160 years.

The Watermill

Set in a 300-year-old building in Aubel, its machinery is operated by the Bel and Berwinne waterways. Touch, smell and taste the cereals used there... You can even try and make a little flour yourself.

The restaurant

The tavern-brasserie in the mill serves delicious assortments of terroir products, as well as beer and cider made in the Pays d'Aubel. The restaurant enjoys 2 terraces, a garden and a play area for children. You will also find parking on site.

The nature reserve

Follow your meal with a stroll in this nature hectare reserve (7 hectares), managed by the windmill and the Natagora association. It is also possible to combine your visit of the mill/nature reserve with the abbey and the  Brasserie de Val Dieu.
