Beer lovers, rejoice. Ormeignies' Royale Fanfare St Ursmer will be organising their famous oberbayern this year, a tradition started in 1962. Every first Saturday of October, the town takes on a festive atmosphere: beer tasting, music and a real feast await...
«Die Tyroler Kerl'n», a local Tyrolean band (in proper outfit!) will add to the cheerfulness (SPOCULO concert hall, 9 pm). Bavarian folk music will be played all night, the public soon joining in, the first Prosit! shared... Add to this 5 bands on the Sunday.
On the menu on the Saturday evening and Sunday lunch time: choucroute, tartiflette or meatballs in tomato sauce.
